In our photo you can see the pier in Sopot, which recently bears the name of John Paul II. This facility is the longest promenade of this type along the entire Baltic Sea. You can walk on it at will, as the pier stretches over half a kilometer, including only the walking section. The greater part of the facility goes deep into the Bay of Gdańsk. At the end of the pier, in its head is located the sea pier “Pier”. It is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city of Sopot.
